Brilliant every beginner needs to read this ... especially the bit about sampling and "presetwhoring"
You are 100% right!
Nowadays I only sample percussion and vocals ... I even try to record vocals by myself..
About 1 year ago.. I started designing my own sounds..and found out I'ts very complicated.
It takes days,weeks and even months to understand a plugin..
Patience, is the bottleneck for beginner producers..
Using samples bored me because everyone used them (Hardkick10) remember? hehe
Besides that, creating a track based on samples didn't satisfied me anymore..

now that i'm on holidays i'm already working on a new one
you guys are very hungry for sounndesign and stuff so i'll focus on that i guess
besides that i got like 2-5 tracks in the making so let's just see what's coming up in the next 14 days
