So one of the suspects is killed by the police, another is still on the run and police have pretty much closed off some of the suburbs. The suspects apparently killed a officer at the MIT before robbing a store and hijacking a car. Pretty intense stuff, hope the other suspect gets caught alive soon and rots in prison for a loooong long time...

This doesn't make sense though, this video shows a suspect being arrested while one suspect is claimed dead and the other still at large.

Oh God I was with a bunch of people online last night listening to the police radios during the entire thing. The one still missing is a possibly jewish kid that's been missing from Brown University for more than a mknth, and actually even tried setting more pressure bombs during the events last night, however they mostly failed. Shit was intense and during all of it, /pol/ wasnpretty much putting the pieces together much quicker than the FBI lol

I doubt that those guys have acces to information that shows how fast the FBI puts pieces together, so I wonder how you can state that those /pol/(whatever it is) people were faster.

I wonder though, why the fuck did these guys stay around Boston? If I were ever to do such a thing, I'd make damn sure I'd be on the first plane to South America. Let alone stay in Boston.

They have suspect #2 in custody and he is alive. He was found under a tarp in a boat in someones backyard.

There were reports of shots fired...they also most likely used flashbangs and gas to disorient the suspect. They had a chopper overhead with thermal capabilities to show that the suspect was still alive based off of heat signatures. A robotic R/C rover was sent in just in case the suspect had explosives on him also.

So one thing to note: His older brother (who was shot and killed in a shootout), flew to Russia for 6 months and a foreign government warned the US to keep an eye on him/investigate him (in 2010). So obviously the older brother was shady. Chances are he passed on his thoughts to the younger brother.

@ Fission: The fact that the politics board on 4chan and reddit found out the suspects before the FBI released them is proof enough.
@ Haug: What happened to his brother, though? I was watching the newscast last night and they had him in custody, then all of a sudden he dies?

Pretty sure he died on the way to the hospital or at the hospital

Things to add:

- The first suspect in Boston Marathon bombings, who was shot, posted on his YouTube account videos related to terrorism.
- Edit on the post I made about suspect #1 traveling to Russia. " US federal agents are planning to closely examine the slain Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s trip to Russia last year, where he may have met with extremists, according to a report by The New York Times". So a foreign government told us to investigate him in 2010 and just last year he made the trip.

He was shown in custody without injuries though, just with no shirt. They had him on the ground hands up for a while...
