there is something called "Reverb" u know that  ( use more reverb )
master the main part sounds like u didnt even made a low cut on your lead.
another thing that may help Compressor on your Lead and Multiband compressor on the kick to master it right.
+ right EQing if u dont know how to EQ , go Analyse some tracks to check their freqs of lead and kick .

Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.

It would be a wise thing to learn what you're trying to point out before calling it ''Mastering''.

So many people mistake common sound design & Mixing skills as >> Mastering .. Not True.

oh damn i failed
i mean the mixdown not the mastering .
like at 2:35 the Snare is killing the punch and at 2:00 the lead sounds distorted
thx for the correction blacklite

But true, snare does sound too loud and dry for the track overall :)

Hey guys,
Here's the Climax part of the project I am working on.
It misses a LOT of Fx and stuff, but I would just like to know your opinion about the sounds that are used and so on ;D

The Kick sounds ok but it should be louder, and also the punch could be harder/better hearable
The Lead is not special imo, but it could have potential with the right mixdown and melody
as you said you need more fx, but basically youre on a good way, keep it up

Currently working on a dark/raw track thats somehow dedicated to the battlefield series
this is just a short example on how the intro will basically sound

@edgie That synth is pretty unique and the kick is banging!

Climax to yet another project I started...

Edgie: I like that kick, nice thooumThooum to it. But that lead is a little bit to strange for me. Maybe if it had less delay and reverb and use it more percussivly (i just made that word up, but you might get my idea).

PaAhah: I would like more presence of that kick. A compressor might help a little bit. The bass get a little bit insane when it pitches up.
I do like the melody though.
Edit: Had a relisten, i think with some more mid it would sound great. But you cant trust soundclouds (or zippyshares) quality.

Asklepios: Nice, maybe calm that lead down a little bit. A tad to loud on my system. But that is reaaaally nitpicking. Following you on SoundCloud. :D

I might upload this on soundcloud. Even on the "hd" setting its kind of schredding my ears.
