@edgie Too much bass? Overall, it sounds nice.

Here's something i started today. I'm sticking to my early Nu-style roots! Lol Enjoy :)

your concept is good and i like the fx but the kick should have a louder punch/bass, but maybe thats just zippy

Thank you Edgie, i try add more distortion to make kick(tail) and punch stronger.
We all have different soundsystem, i making music with old Philips SPH2000 headphones(soon will buy something better, i aint rich yet :D:D:D) and listening with 35W 2.1 Dell speakers wich have good highs and mids so the bass are great too. In headphones i hear one version and with speakers the other version, but still im satisfied but kick is the problem fo' sure, cuz im new too and have lots of things to learn.
I want to thank ya anyway and will try to improve kick today :)

@Edgie: Like the sound design, though the bass is quite high indeed, otherwise its really nice work!

Here is a pain-in-the-ass kick work. IM using the Maelstrom Synthesizer in Reason to create a hardcore kick, with Distortion, EQ, Compressor and all that good stuff. Sat down a few hours yesterday trying to tweak the sound, though its a long road ahead, here is the first preview (Nvm the synth and the vocal, they are shit :) ).

Sch: Indeed, this EQ is messing with my head, if you do it too long, you won't be able to hear whats good or bad so you always need to take a break now and then.

Much easier with 909, the EQ is so much simpler :)

Going to sample a a kick from Tha Playah or something to use as refrence.
