Hey all! This is a preview of my new track, This Is What I Am. This is a tribute to Toby Emerson's Angel, and Hyperdrive. I hope you all like it

CrankMusic, its pretty cool, but everything is very muddy, i dont know maybe because of youtube. But the kick definetly (sp?) lacks of good punch and bass. Also the break with the pads is kinda monotonic, you should add some sounds or fxes



Here is my first drum and bass try ever, im curious what others think

@Cyborg Nice kick First time you build is better then second.. Maybe because of the difference of snare and clap there.. didn't like the clap there at all otherwise really nice

Thunderbunny: maybe a bit too much dist on your tail and don't really like that part after 0:55...

Thunderbunny: I kind of agree with the tail, but at the same time i dont really know what you are aiming for. The kick works, not that exciting though. The fx sounds awesome though.

Parallectic: Hard to critisize something that is so far of from my own thing, if i have a thing that is.

Made this during lunchbreak today. Using a pair of Sony MDR-V150...Might be a bit muddy.

Kick is very good, and i also like the build up, sometimes i couldnt really follow the melody but i think this would grow on me very fast

dont mind the build up, just cut this together quick

@ Edgie - melody has potential although i would change a bit notes at the 4th bar, however kickdrum is totally not my thing
