Re: [24/11/2018] Qlimax - The Gamechanger
Early HS/HT stuff we'd expect at an opening is over a decade old now - it's had its time (sadly and incorrectly)
It was nice variety to get the night going imo

Liked every set. They all delivered so much. Even Coone wich I'm not a big fan of really did a good one.
Tweekacore was great. Clearly more dark than last year. The lion king remix was AMAZING.
PN and SZP were out of this world.
Peacock was CRAZY
The stage wasn't crazy imo but still pretty good compared to last year.
Now i must die.

Nah Tweekacore definitely delivered, playing a Tweeka set at Qlimax would be difficult enough to get right let alone a Happy Hard set, it's a genre which has it's roots in cheesy happy music and it would have been all too easy to just replay their Defqon set. But i think they did a fantastic job of keeping it balanced and playing tracks that still fit the rest of the night without too much cheese. All of that in spite of technical difficulties which no doubt would have put a dampener on them from the second track.

Without too much cheese? It was 75% singalong tracks and 25% of actual music with beats.diesal11 wrote:Nah Tweekacore definitely delivered, playing a Tweeka set at Qlimax would be difficult enough to get right let alone a Happy Hard set, it's a genre which has it's roots in cheesy happy music and it would have been all too easy to just replay their Defqon set. The Wildstylez set was amazing but calling it Live or even mixed is laughable! 100% pre recorded

Well that's your opinion, I think they definitely showed that their genre can fit to Qlimax.VTraxx wrote:Tweekacore delivered? Lolol.Shadder wrote:Liked every set. They all delivered so much. Even Coone wich I'm not a big fan of really did a good one.
