^For me hardstyle has to be pitched. It sounds always better when it's above 150bpm

I also really hope for the video sets. Because I haven't been there this year.
And it seems like I'm still waiting for Brennan Heart set last year

Most tracks are produced at 150 BPM, some at 153 and 155 BPM. I think the biggest reason is either the style or the vocals. Nowadays many harder hardstyle tracks are produced at 155 BPM. Whereas 3-4 years before nearly all tracks would've been 150 (not depening if it's a harder track or not).

At festivals, as the day progresses, the BPM is obviously rising. So when it starts at 148 / 150 BPM, it get's to 155 pretty quick. And as not all tracks are mastered at 155 BPM, they're speed up, which leads to pitched up sounds basically.

Imagine SZP playing "for example Basstrain" at 150, whereas every other track they play or the DJs around them play at 153 / 155. That would 1. sound bad (various BPM from track to track?) and 2. energy gets lost in the set & the event (DJ 4 playing 155, DJ 5 only 150?)

Why? Cause the almighty Ceero says so? I said "for me it has to be pitched". Not that it should be an universal thing.
Btw, when I started listening to hardstyle, mp3 shops weren't a thing. So all you had to listen to were live sets.
And everybody pitched HS back then, including residents so I kinda got used to it. And if it is the "biggest bs ever" (nice exaggeration btw) why are so many tracks now above 150 bpm? I mean raw works at 150bpm too right?

Guess everybody is full of bs now

ID wrote: Yeah, that i understand, but to diversify your set as you where the set that a lot of people didnt want to happn, you play stuff that "secure" your act, the latest one of syphyx would've been the perfeect one like i said, it would've been better for them to play 1 or 2 track of DWX just to make people that don't like Tweekaz happy you know.
Since when they have to adapt to the crowd ? And not playing their own tracks ? :+ I don't deny what you said but if people don't like them... well they don't like them and they don't have to care about that. You can't please everyone anyway.
And now they have tons of people conforted into what they though about tweekaz (just look at some pages and comments about their set), they don't know how to build their set, they just play their stuff end of the line, where on the other side you have people that work their set for months, create awesome tracks and edits JUST for this night, this is something really important, commitment, they've showed NONE no dedication for this special night, the atmosphere, nothing. They played a generic set as they would play anywhere, you can't deny that.

Also IIRC, they didn't even play the spooks return bootleg no ? The joke... "lol" teasing this 1 week before, and not even playing it when it match the qlimax spirit... :+
I'm sorry to say this, but you're really talking out of your ass. Just because the set didnt meet your standard (which is weird, because it doesnt seem like you are a fan), doesnt mean the boys didnt work their ass off for Qlimax. I counted 4 edits in their set, and a whole boatload of new tracks.

Imho, you're just complaining because you love to complain.
