Yeah that could be, the Samson are going down till 30 HZ.
So with a proper sub it should work
When you had it not loud enough could be also the reason, the subbass/low frequencies need some volume to hear them properly.

aaah, i tried it on my speakers, and it doesn't have that sub-bass power! try and put up the hertz a little, atleast above 60, so you can hear it at a low level, it would make sense right?
like mines between 60-100, and that's a good level, as not everyone has studio monitors to carry around with them
or just eq/bass boost it
do that, and i think your kick would sound really powerful!

Well the sub bass was @ 80hz wich is abit too high for sub i guess?AtomikRevelation wrote: like the kick too, but my headphones are giving resonance to your kick, makes it sound overdistorted!

Anyways thx for your feedback my speakers and subwoofer sucks so they kinda corrupt the sound abit.

Here are my 2 new kicks and this time the sub bass is @ 50hz, hope it's better now.
iCore 2 Duo @ 3.4Ghz | 4Gb 800Mhz DDR2 RAM | M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496 | Windows 7 x64 & Mac OSX 10.6.8 Dualboot | KRK Rokit RP5 G2 | Access Virus TI Desktop | Access Virus C Desktop | Korg K49 MIDI Keyboard
The kick sounds nice! Although im not sure of the pitching is correct, it sounds wierd imo.The Distorter wrote:Well the sub bass was @ 80hz wich is abit too high for sub i guess?AtomikRevelation wrote: like the kick too, but my headphones are giving resonance to your kick, makes it sound overdistorted!![]()

attempted to make my punch, punchier, tried a different method, found by mistake!
More equalising! The punch need to be at a higher freq so it doesn't sound as low and damp as the bass.AtomikRevelation wrote:nice! that sounds much much betterThe Distorter wrote:
