Euphoric Hardstyle appreciation thread
Re: Euphoric Hardstyle appreciation thread
Ah well I guess I misunderstood him too, Attack Again isn't the best example of a climax that builds from an intro tho, It is literally a typical NC intro with a well known melody added, Pillars Of Creation or Toneshifterz - Quirk are tracks that fit that description (Or IK - X-Bass (Yoji Remix)
)

Regarding hardstyle, yes. Yes it does.Tritta wrote:It was about time somebody finally fucking told it. Not everything has to be dancefloor/event-oriented.tha rippah wrote:Not everything has to be dj-oriented imo.

Frontliner - Rollin' / The First Cut
Wildstylez - Revenge / A Complex Situation / Pleasure
Frequencerz - Tomorrow and Beyond (+ the Lars Edit)
Noisecontrollers - Yellow Minute
Josh & Wesz - Autumn Green / Liberal (w/ Phuture Noize)
I'm all for creative structures of tracks but I don't agree about hardstyle that is not "dancefloor oriented", it's the powerful energy and drive that hardstyle has is what I like about ittha rippah wrote:Uhm why?Vicious wrote:Regarding hardstyle, yes. Yes it does.Tritta wrote:

And the DJs could just skip the intros. They can still be party tracks, but just with some different structures. And I mean this from the listener's point of view.

I actually think that we have about the same point of view on the matter. Of course tracks should work on the dancefloor too. But some different structures wouldn't harm. Every style in edm has different kind of structures, while still being danceable.
