well said i get your point BUT:
cause at a certain point you want to look "behind" the horizons
this goes for newbies aswell as for "grown" artists

and newbies WILL get that, as soon as they feel the urge to advance
and as i explained in the first few sentences of the tutorial - it's focussed on what's used the most at the moment

i also COULD write about at least 2-5 more patterns, from oldschool to complex multi- or anti-climaxes
or more about rythmics. etc etc...
but this is basically the most common pattern atm
people will notice that there is SO much more than just the "regular" pattern

that's also why i said: open your ears! do analysis, it hasn't to be in-depth you'll discover SO many things, so many different details, patterns, melodies and so on and on and on!
and this WILL bring the urge to do more complex stuff, to advance and to get original!
@casefan
that's the way you go! simply use them for building your "skeleton" or for replacing stuff you can't to at the moment or whatever, samples save at lot of time but they shouldn't be an excuse not taking the efford and time for learning it by yourself some time

maybe i'll do some on melodies too aswell
the tweakheads guide is e-pic. must read for every newb building a homestudio
@kodex
