Re: Coone - Music Is Art
I loved the vocals, but that melody afterwards is just pure and utter shit. It's like he went on his synth and played rnadom noted till they made some vague sense. Kick also sounds like someopne just put a simple kick on top of a guitar string going "pwanng"

you must be new here

There's definitely something special about hardstyle from 2006-2010....
I just don't hang around too much, I don't know what you're implying though.Zak wrote:andzon wrote:These vocals are horrible, majority of the video contains chicks to get as many views as possible. Where's the music made by soul and not money?

He's implying that you semeed to not have known that the running joke here is that everyone hates Coone and expects nothing more than this from the red-cheeked fellow.
Am I the only one is HST who likes this?
This is pretty catchy, I like the overall song structure, the melody and the lead are good, intro is kinda meh.

Don't you think that some people just don't like his tracks? I'm listening daily to Hardstyle since 2006, I know what I'm saying, he is one of the worst artists this scene has ever seen. I wonder how much he paid for that

I'm pretty sure Coone knows that his audience isn't the die hard hardstyle fans. He makes music for a more generic, maybe even just casual hardstyle listener and I find nothing wrong with that.
His music isn't often my taste (his recent tracks Beat on my drum & monster I kinda liked), but I'm pretty sure that most people at EDC really enjoyed this track.

Or maybe he just produce the way it pleases him the most.
I saw him "live" last weekend in Switzerland, even if a lot of people don't like his production, i saw, by his behaviour on stage, that he really enjoy what he does and playing at hardstyle party. Personnaly, i don't need more.

@Zak, gotta agree. Hardstyle tracks aren't created for any typical person or crowd, they are just another musical way to express yourself, and if you enjoy for what you have done, that is enough. Coone seems to do these things right.
To think that hardstyle is an really, REALLY small genre in USA and people danced to his tracks, well, pretty impressive job if you ask me.
