Hm, when I hear the old Tiesto and the old Showtek, than I listen this track, I cried... What these producers have become? Why did they leave their original style?
(I probably know the answer, don't have to answer it...)
But the track sounds really cool... in its own genre

I get what you mean with that, I love old tiesto too and I used to love old Showtek(not so much into the hardstyle anymore), but I also understand that artists simply can not make the same style for 10 years. That would bore the fuck out of me.

Also for me... Only thing I regret: this kind of music has nothing to do with trance... Oh wait, he doesn't make trance anymore (Tiesto)

This is seriously crap. Just listen to Tiësto - Nyana for example and experience the true Tiësto, and Showtek, well nothing else has to be said..
It kinda is yeah, however I still don't think this is like megacommercial. If they really want radiosucces and stuff they would go with the Afrojack-Shermanology-style or so, so I don't think money is the main motivation. Cos' to be honest, how often get tracks like these played on the radio and stuff? This is just the sound of the clubs and festivals nowadays.Qwertz wrote:nothing wrong when a producers changes his sound when hes bored of his old style, but in case of tiesto and showtek its just jumping on the bandwagon and make that pop-edm which is popular atm
When certain styles get popular you are just more likely to think "let's just try to make that for fun", next thing you know is you find yourself producing it often. That's how I got into it too. And even if they do do this for popularity or money, I don't really care. There is a great demand for music like this so logically, there will be people who gain massive profit from it.

Hmm, I think that this track is really powerful and energetic.
Really like it

I don't really like that genre of music.
It has nothing to do with Showtek making it btw before the influx of "STOP BEING CLOSE MINDED" etc etc
Also i wonder if there is some trance forum out there where people moan about how Tiesto has changed so much (just like we do with Showtek
