Yea and the reason is that the show, pyro, lights have to be all sync with the track. That's why the technic crew has to start everything at the same time ofc.

probably he was putting knobs back to initial position, preparing to mix. anyway at moment like this you are so pumped up and excited you don't even know where to put yourself and it happens naturally.. I think theres nothing to be ashamed of

He's constantly turning knobs of multiple channels. That has nothing to do with "preparing to mix". But I agree there's several DJ moves you are simply forming a habit of. As for me I always push the open fader up to the top again while the track is running. In the beginning it was just to ensure that it really was at 100% but over time that became a habit.

At 2:37 the faders are down, it was probably the first track after the intro and the track didn't come from the deck.
But look at 4:27-4:29 they aren't down
