@SQMDQ: Change some of the notes so that it doesnt get as repetitive.
@Dhamiri: Same thing to you, but you should change the harmony in the notes to match the progression. Otherwise a great melody

@NRx Hardstyle the link is not working

this melody goes against many rules of western music theory, but I went with it anyway

@dhamiri_blurrboy : Idk the melody itself isn't bad, but with that lead it sounds quite weird, a tad too happy to my tast tho :)

@Soundphase : Sounds weird indeed, but I think you could manage to make something out of that, but it's not outstanding imo :)

@RaVaGe
realy like the more "trancy" feeling/build-up in the first one ;)

second one also has an interesting melody ;) i'm digging youre style m8 _O_

after haven't produced any kind of music, i gave it another try the last couple of weeks, this is pretty much what i came up with.
I do have some dificulties with distinguishing the frequencies, causse i use "normal" stereo speakers as monitors .... (really need to get some proper monitor's soon ...) :eyeroll:

@Zine-Wave

first melody: it would fit in an emotional track with some great female vocals.
second melody: honestly, really great melody. simple yet catchy. i think it's one of the best i've heard in this thread.

keep it up, work on your kicks/mixdown and you'll be able to make proper stuff!

dawed1999: little bit reminds me on hands up by using the notes in this way. There's nothing dissonant here, but it's not really catchy for my ears, sorry.

Started to do this thing, I'm not sure about the last seconds, I just tried how it sounds like an octave higher :P

Made me think I'm stepping into a gladiator arena. Not really sure why.
But it's good, I like it :)
Maybe add a little variation when the kick plays.

I'm working on a new idea to combine some fun stuff. Thought of it when I heard "Wodka" by Da Tweekaz.

@Valadia: I think the melody is all over the place with that one note that goes up. Maybe adding some more variations wouldnt hurt either

Something Ive been working on;
