Soundphase wrote:@five-map it starts nice but the changes in the last 4 bars make it too random

it has something of the '08 feeling, i like it, expecting a massive saw-fest when the melody comes in hard

@theconvicted, pretty nice, but a few notes sound so random, the second part saves it, good one

. so, just asking, do you think that this would fit a hardstyle track? i love the melody, but maybe it is tooo long and complex, i just don't know :+

@theconvicted, I kinda like that second one, imo you can make a nice little track with it so you should continue, about the first one I don't know, it sounds good but kinda too complex/random.

@Soundphase, sounds nice but I don't think it will fit into an hardcore track, but i'm not into hardcore at all so I can't really help.

@Grape, the second part makes me think about Showtek - We own the night, but overall I like it, and imo it fit to hardstyle.

Something random ...

And a variation

@Grape - i can berly distinguish the melody but from what i can it has a nice tone, play with the synth and make it less stereo....

@Rageage - i love what you have so far definitely has a wasted penguinz sound to it, but add more variation seems a bit repetitve

this is what i made today

@Grape that melody is awesome (L)

I'm not a producer so I can't give a real feedback :P but I did these three remakes, what do you think?

Bass Modulators - Anthem Of Summer (Remake/Remix)

Brennan Heart - Miles (Intro Remake)

@Ravage; Great melodies, both very fluid, but both need a bit of more variation

@Colorblind; I like the progression, but the melody is a bit way to everywhere but still in scale

NRx: I don't hear any false notes, technically okay, but it's not catchy at all I think.

I'm waiting how many random notes you will find here :+

@Grape, it sounds great! I love the oldschool feel to it.

@Ravage, both melodies would be much better with more variation, but the idea is nice.

@Colorblind, most of it sounds good, but some parts seem out of place.

@SimixHarDj, the remakes of Dragonborn and Miles are a bit too repetitive.

@NRx Hardstyle, like The Convicted said, it isn't really catchy in my opinion. It'll sound much better with a different lead though.

@The Convicted, a bit repetitive, but otherwise it's pretty solid.

I made this a few minutes ago, and I think it's my best melody so far.

@Typhonmusic

Like the melody a lot, gives an amazing back in time feeling. Lead is a bit muddy, even if that makes the melody more oldschool vibish, you could probably EQ out some of it.

@jansson005

Pitch the kick with the melody, it would make a huge difference. Also try to play with the lengh of the notes.

Here is my newest idea:

@typhonmusic: sounds awesome, I love the old school feel, you could make a very good track out of it ;p
@Jansson005: Some of the notes sound a bit off to me or maybe its just the kick, you could also add a bit more variation, however it's got potential :)
@temtek: I like the it a lot, some of the notes on the last bar don't fit though imo

Something I just thought of a while ago:
