[quote="MKN"]i'd love a sound design topic, because i just wanna ask how the hell do you make hard sounds like the ones from scope & alphaverb for example.

Like that raw sounding lead, how?! :(

I think he used a simple sawtooth or squarewave and applied some pitch modulation and an LFO to it. To make it more "raw" sounding he probably used distortion and EQ. To make it sound bigger he used reverb or delay. :)

For those of you whose DAW doesn't come with 3XOSC, I think you can download it for free somewhwere.

Waddup guys,

I want to make a tut, but when i want to record with Camtasia it says that my ASIO 4 all needs to be turned off before i cant record.
But asio 4 all is quality and i dont want to turn it of you know what im saying.
So what to do?

I'm not exactly sure since I've never tried anything like this, but I think what you can do is record all the sound through another program like Edison or Audacity, while recording the video with Camtasia. That way you should be able to use the Asio drivers for the sound, and still be able to record the video. Don't take my word on it though, but there is probably a setting which allows you to only record the video and not the sound.

Hypercam 2 is a decent free program. :D and about the sound problem, you sure that you've selected the right audio output? :)
