I mean the shuttle buses with a travel package
Tnx
I had some bad experiences with it. One time for example the busses just didnt show up until someone called. Another time the bus was full and we had to wait 30 min :facepalm: Both things happened at Defqon 2016 when going back to the hotel. The other times (and also a year before), the busses were fine

It is going to be awesome!

Me and my friends are flying there for the first time this year, after multiple years of going by car. This means that we no longer can bring all of the stuff needed for a good camp, and thus will have to buy some of it along the way. Anybody know any good stores / larger supermarkets around Amsterdam that sells stuff like bottled gas or camping chairs? Some of it can probably be bought at the festival store, but it is usually both expensive and very hectic, so we would rather have all that done before the event.

Anyone? :D

Are you allowed to take in gas bottles? But for other stuff, the few times I've bought tents there we just went to Perry Sport, they sell camping chairs also.

Yes, the smallest size of gas bottles is allowed. (The canisters look like this:

)

Ill check that store out, thanks!

Gas cartriges are allowed but make sure you bring the small ones with less than 250 gram of gas.

What are you guys thoughts about the insane premium for 'premium' tickets? I think it's insane and Q-dance isn't going to deliver. VIP decks are often very boring and a fast lane entrance is a way of not meeting nice people in the waiting line.

Not worth it, in my opinion. The VIP areas are very far back, but raised to give a good view. Seemed to be alot of people up there, so not a good way to escape crowds, it seems. As for the fast lane, does it really matter? I've gone through the regular very quickly multiple years now without problems.

My friend found some interesting options through the Netherlands reddit page. There is a chain called "Decathlon" with camping equipment, we have located a large store in south eastern Amsterdam.

Seems to be exactly what we are looking for, they have the bottles gas as well :D

We got a cottage (and tickets of course)! This will be the first time at Defqon. I've been waiting for this opportunity for so many years. Better be good :p Any tips to a first-timer? Is there anything that you absolutely must do?
