So, Rammstein's singer Till Lindemann has a solo album due to be out on monday.
Here is the single, fucked up as expected haha. The album is leaked already - the single is one of the weaker tracks in my opinion. Must listen for every Rammstein die hard, tbh to me it sounds pretty much like english version of Rammstein.

So I heard quite a few metal tracks I like and wanted to inform myself a bit more but there are so many different subgeners that I thought I´ll ask here, maybe somebody can help me find the style I like most.

What I like is:
-fast (around 200bpm+ is good)
-fuzzy powerchords playing rhythms like for example 1 note on the beat and the other one on the offbeat
-technically complex and fast lead-guitar solos (I like the ones that sound like some old sci-fi videogame tunes)
-limited use of growls (some are okay but not the ones lasting one minute)
-generally a sharp/cutting, fast, pumping, technical sound, where you can hear all instrumentalists giving their best

This for example goes into the right direction:

Do we have some classic Helloween/Kiske/Unisonic fans here?

Helloween's first three albums and the EP are really good - anything after that is garbage imo.

In a completely other genre, Chthe'ilist has more than likely dropped one of the first serious contenders for album of the year in all of metal. Fucking hell this is good! (for fans of Demilich and Ulcerate)

Another, earlier candidate would for me be Obscura's "Akróasis" album. Amazing Tech. Death and quite possibly their best album to date.

And finally, an album I'm REALLY hyped for is Icelandic band Zhrine, with their debut "Unortheta". Sounds like it could be a monster if Spewing Gloom is the standard! (for fans of Temple of Baal, Necrophobic and Voidhanger)

huge metal fan 8 years ago until I started with HS & HC, was rocking with Wintersun, Ensiferum, Children of Bodom, Norther, Sonata Arctica, Sabaton, Mercenary, Korn.. every here and there I randomly have that desire for metal tunes, which is really refreshing to hear after so long (L) :)

Some days (pretty much most of them) I wish that Dismember would come back and set the world straight.
