I still like my Hardcore melodic and distorted ^^

My biggest issue i have with the current Hardstyle is the lack of fresh and creative productions. Everything literally sounds the same and all those "talents" just copy and paste the track structure and sound design of the established producers. They have no own ideas and sounds and even the production level is quite poor overall.

yeah, Icey, I share your opinion. gated kicks are also a reason why I am so much into hardcore, especially industrial :)
Mindustries is great stuff, indeed. same goes for Dither. but I just cant get enough of Switch Technique at the moment. it's just...his style, his own

@ Convicted. Yes that's totally the Hardcore 'Techno' that I like and it is very techno-like indeed. Isn't this the new Sei2ure since signing on this label?

I actually prefer Sacred Music. Hardtechno was always something I can't really listen, because it's somehow too monotonous to me. But Sleepwalking by Angel or Purgatory from Tymon & Waldhaus gave me the total opposite of my thinking!

Yeh I played that before :) and wow I absolutely love that Gucci remix by Waldhaus. Can play that in a hard techno or hardcore set. Love the cross over stuff.

Tymon seems to be more mainstream influenced lately am I right?

Also Head VI from ophidian & tapage seems to be influenced by hard techno to me. Am I right? Peer pressure is a great track imo. I like the crossover between hard techno and hardcore made by tymon, angel and waldhaus, but hardtechno as a genre seems to be a little bit monotonous to me, maybe because I'm not an usual listener
