Yeah man, this is exacly what i mean. Use the first note of the vocal as a clue. Well, i think the best way to know if you are a on a right key is to play the vocal and the kick (in this case) in the same time. Now, when you hit play the first note of your vocal in loof you can hit the kick on a pad or a controller and listen to the right key. Just try it and you will have the right one in the end =)
After a couple practices it will be much easier to detect it and when you practice a lit bit more you will detect the right key just from hearing the vocals GOOD LUCK!

Work some on the mixdown, it sounds muddy to me.
The melody is good, but not ready yet. Try to adjust the note lenghts here and there.

Just found out Kasparov is having a remix contest, so why not join?
Made this, but I'm not sure about it. Would like some comments
Don't mind the mixing and mastering. Haven't really worked on that.

@ mister d-fusion, sounds good to me.. i`d like to give you a usefull piece of advice, but i myself have no idea what i am doing, as i am still learnig.

now i`ve tried to make some hardcore..
so if you want to have a good laugh, or give me some usefull tips. please do so

@Nicoow I like the idea, but it sounds kind of muddy(?).

So, i started up fl studio for the first time in like a year and gave it a go on a hardcore track.
I took the melody from "Bang bang" by Nancy Sinatra and made something else with it.

@ nicooow, like Tamme said, the idea is cool, but the track sounds a bit muddy. The kick could really use some treble and a proper punch.
@ Tamme, the track structure sounds really random, and the plucky synth sounds weird imo, but the kick is nice.

@ hardstaticrecords, the track sounds pretty decent, but some parts of the break sound a bit random, and the kick sounds too quiet. Also, give feedback.

Now...i`m having a little trouble giving feedback on your tracks ,as they are all far beyond my producing capabilities.
How can i tell someone to do something, if i don`t know how to do it myself?
All i can say, it all sounds very professional.
