Mixing Hardcore-into Hardstyle
Re: Mixing Hardcore-into Hardstyle
have a go at bringing stuff in at parts where there are no kicks or claps like the parts before the climax, but it depends on the track.
In my new mix I play Delete - 'Fuck the Formula' as my last Hardstyle track @ 157bpm and Slow-Down Promo - 'So Sick' to that speed for the Hardcore-Hardstyle mix
(then bring it back up to 172bpm)
See at 32sec in the clip, the track cuts-off which is where i speed up to 172bpm

I usually make edits out of some hardcore tracks. Did it with "Trapped in this world" for example. I simply cut out the inmix part, and streched it to 150 bpm. But right at the start of the actual track it goes back to its original tempo (165, I thought). You get flawless transitions that way

why not use a hardstyle track that has a almost silent break? then mix in the hardcore track at its own bpm?
Flawless maybe, but really boring way to do it. and where's the challenge in mixing when you just change the bpm like that.Darycka wrote:I usually make edits out of some hardcore tracks. The whole fun part in mixing from hardstyle and hardcore imo, is the beatmatching part and make the tracks fit together.
