Hmmm, sound design is not bad.. But you can indeed improve your mixdown and you can also need some things to make it more interesting.. First of all: Eq your lead, i think your lead should be high-passed at about 100-hz, or until the lead really starts to lose its power, but, automate that, because you want some lower frequencies in the build up for atmosphere, so when the kick kicks in, you just automate the highpass filter. And you even can lower the volume a bit from the lead i guess.. Just put down the fader and fade it upwards until it sounds right in combination with the kick..

Second: To make some more noticeable interesting sounds or creative fx, just take your chord progression, fill it up with quarter or halve notes on each note, and slightly automate the panning to left and right. (So lets say: 40 left and 40 right) A lead in higher notes than your main lead for instance. (*notice that the lead should be in the background, and not in front, otherwise you'll put all of the interest in that lead, which you don't want because it should be a interest creating lead.) Though i like what you did with the second lead in the climax, that's a very interesting lead...
And for some other FX, just make some FX kicks, and like noali said, put them either at the last 4 bars from every 32 bars, or 2, depends on what's good. And my last tip would be to try to make your main break to the climax shorter, imo it's a bit too long.. Just try to make it shorter by 32 bars or something.. Because it's a little too long you might become less interested in a sort of way.. doesn't always have to be, but this is just my opinion..

So i hope you've got something on my tips man.. I'm not saying that ''YOU'LL HAVE TO DO THIS OR THAT'', but i'm just pointing some things from my point of view! ;)

Thanks Cardioid for your tips, helpful :)
but I don't really understand what you want to say here "just take your chord progression, fill it up with quarter or halve notes on each note" do I have to take my melody and do smaller notes ?

The first post has been edited with the actual version of the track.

Almost all intros & outros in (mainstream) hardstyle are 32+32+32 with a 4bar break at the end of each 32bar group... then instrumental section or some claps or whatever... just listen to other tracks for the timing and fill in the rest...
Perfect explanation to a problem many many people have. Listen to this guy. Its a very simple error that so many people do.

I'm sure as a hardstyle producer you have collected some distorted/industrial/etc.. sounds. Simply playing around is the thing for me atleast. Knowing the structure and timing makes the playing around a lot less random and helps get results sooner. Listening to other records can still help.
Okay, thanks for answer. I have the Vengeance FX pack 1 and I think I can do something with that. I'll give it a try today :)
