well people said DF is Hard trance so i thought it was that. but isnt hands-up waay more cheesy and softer?

Naah, Hands-Up is suprisingly broad I honestly can't say that for example most Rob Mayth remixes are "soft" or "Neo Cortex - I Want You! (Rocketeers vs Lagoon Remix)" is quite hard too (massive gated kicks) but it can be soft too, like old Bass-T tracks, or the well known track Raver's Fantasy which is awesome, but not really hard in comparison to some of the harder hands-up stuff also the cheesiness is mostly present but not always

Of course I could be wrong, but Deepforces falls under hands-up for me Possibly with some influences of older Hardtrance

Well afaik Hands up springs from Hardtrance so them sounding similar isn't a surprise
