Fabfilter Saturn works pretty well Great multiband and a loooot of functions
But it takes an insane load of CPU usage on my computer, 3 or more active filter slots with saturn and it will already start to lag my DAW

Fast dist is a really nice plugin if you know how to use, soft clipper, buzz effect adaptor, plus an eq can really shape your sound.

Camel phat works pretty well, considering the less options you have on that effect, thats why you have Eq so you can shape your sound, Cant wait to get logic soon!

Nothing compared to clip distortion IMO, i spent 2 years telling myself it wasn't as good as i thought it would be. Finally gave in and tried it a few months ago. haven't looked back since.

It's just a brilliant distortion, Why do you think so many pros use it?
Like i said before. I spent two years telling myself it was overrated. But since i started using it, i haven't found anything that compares to the distortion it gives.
That's just my opinion though. It's not because all the pros use it. it's just because I've found that 909 + Clip Distortion is a combination that works for me.
