If we all compared like that, every topic would have 'it sounds like ...'.

When you create a melody, you follow a progression, and when this progression has already been used, it's going to sound similiar.

Thanks for the comment.

Imo if you make a track, make it unique.

It's not about being unique. It's about choosing what sounds right ... I did years of music theory and I would go into it, but it'll take a while.

Basically, these progressions (especially minor) are reused so many times in electronic genres. Someone on another forum could be saying 'J&W - Autumn Green' copied ... 'Blah Blah - Blah Blah Blah'. It's not intentional, it just happens because its what works.

Kick sounds tad empty tbh, open up the decay of the filter abit more.
The lead is nice, but the melo needs to be more legato, this way takes out the drive of the track. It does sound cleaner, but the drive is (imo) more important then cleanage.

And again about the kick, it got a bit too much 200-300hzes (the muddy region) try to get some out.

And im not gonna say anything bout the style, cuz I dont like it. But thats with more tracks hehe :)

I don't really agree about the kick but I will definitely try what you say as there is no harm in doing so! I still have a week or two, before it is sent off for release, so advice is always welcome.

Thanks for the comment.

Kicks are...yeah, at first I wasn't sure about it, but after being used to it, they are nice! Melo is ok, but needs a harder Lead in my opinion, this is to cheesy. All in all cool track :)!
