Even though I love this stuff, absolutely lol @ DWX labeling this as 'Hardstyle', this is uptempo and microwave kicks are 100% from the uptempo scene, this is slowed down zaag uptempo, otherwise we should call many uptempo artists including TDH hardstyle too. So I posted this in Hardcore :listen:

TBH it's kinda stupid to call this stuff or the average TDH track "Uptempo" as the name implies a fast BPM. I've seen Slowtempo or Rawtempo being used (which are kinda ass as names but better indicative than Uptempo)

Wouldn't this qualify as Krach?

It’s kinda double, and up to individual interpretation anyways, but my pov is Uptempo used to mean ‘higher tempo hardcore’ but nowadays there’s so much other stuff that makes it sound like a completely own genre (the kicks, screeches and fx mainly). + everyone outside of uptempo hates uptempo and is shitting on it on the daily so we / the uptempo crowd is pretty much an own bubble also at festivals,

TDH is indeed raw / slightly above raw bpm but asides from that it’ 100% sounds like uptempo to me, not hardstyle, raw or regular hardcore.

Krach = uptempo subgenre in my eyes, Invaderz and MBK were the first with microwave kicks or kicks that sounded like a zooming wall of bass as far as I know, Noiseflow taking inspiration from that and calling it an own genre doesn’t change much for me. To me Krach = form of uptempo, I can’t rly view Krach as a standalone genre but as a variant of uptempo because it again, shares 100% of (zaag and microwave, which didn't start with Noiseflow) uptempo’s sounddesign besides only 20 bpm’s

Edit: i realise what you said is true logically. But i refuse to ever use the name rawtempo or downtempo, we already have too much boxes imo

Just like Da Tweekaz qualifies as hardstyle just as much as xtra raw, the same constrasts with uptempo are also there. From Unproven to borderline terror like MBK or harsh noises like Invaderz
