ID software lead said they made Doom Eternal feel like racing an F1 and that the next game should feel as driving a monster truck, it seems they absolutely nailed it

It worries me a bit there's lack of verticality in stages/arenas and/or platforming movement but compensated by wide combat arenas, curious how it will turn out

I have a 3070 and it does indeed run smoothly
People are complaining the movement feels heavier than the past 2 games but that was the intent they went for, they said it before release, they nailed it for me regardless, so satisfying to play, it isnt even that hard on Nightmare, im halfway thru and im ejoying every stage and exploration loot so much
