oh wow, danceable and simple hardstyle?
banger!
btw, how long since you've heard such a vocal driven drop which used to be a normal thing in hardstyle?

- okay, i listened to it for a few times in a row now, it's the best tnt in a long time for me, what a bomb

Interesting:)
I'd prefer if you told me what it is to you first. But my understanding is baked in waldhaus, primarily. found global hardtechno forum shortly after, so obviously krocher and combat skill and abstract and bitshift yadda yadda yadda. then fell in love with therabyte, stana and ultraform. oh and louk and mark eg. mainly louk (i mean his discogs says hard trance/techno - not sure how he would characterize it). come to think of it louk was posting a lot on ghf. then i pretty much watched everything i can on cubbo, svetec, petduo, buchecha, viper xxl, lukas, obi, underdogz (
), then technoart (probably the most important techno label ever), fell in love with the hungarian sound. then the 'qult' sound (not sure how you want to view this vis a vis harder techno but without this acti would never started what he did with autektone), and then autektone, neorave and modern schranz. I see the genre having three subgenres, 'neorave', 'techstyle' and 'schranz', psy can be separated as well perhaps. and as anyone will know on the forum, my definitions are very broad, what i consider hardstyle is very broad, what i consider hard trance is very broad, so if there is no reversed bassline (the defining characteristic of style to me), it's hard techno.
There is also the very interesting conundrum modern hardstyle fans are trying to reconcile. They think that techno has appropriated hardstyle but they never ever want to hear or see any of the music that techno is supposedly appropriating. TNT is the singular exception. please do tell me why that is haha. must be cause they are on dirty workz no? they are hip and down with it on DWX. for example jimmy the sound would be 'ew no disgusting, long, boring, same kicks music' no?
that's all a bit long though. Do you know a user on here called 'icey' - yeah HT to me is everything that Icey plays and used to play. but the genre has evolved. and it's been damn exciting to follow
edit: oh naturally i forgot hardgroove
which would cover a whole other post in itself. maybe that's more HT to you??
