If I was a 16 year old student and my teacher said that I would be rolling on the floor laughing for 10 full minutes. Come to think of it, the teachers with that 'youthful' kinda humor were the only few teachers I ever liked. Damn, if I think of some of the things old teachers / sport teachers were saying 20 years ago on a daily basis.. and none of us kids cared about it. Or the gaming communities in 2006, where us kids called each other and each other's families the most insane things for 0 reason. Actually interesting imo, i think society got way too soft nowadays.

Society got soft for sure and its one the reasons economics go down. Also that german arrogance against china which i‘ve witnessed 10 years ago just backlashes like no tomorrow.

Nah, it's what Emre said. Besides, I teach vocational college, so the youngest is like 16/17 and the oldest is 28yo and everything in between (even had one dude years ago who was 52 yo lol). 99% of what I teach are boys and the girls are one of the boys too; logistics, so the warehouse workers, truck drivers, planners, etc. They were testing me, because the guy was like: "do you want to hear what I hear on my phone" to which I replied with a firm "no, that can never be a good thing!" He still played it and if I would've gone against it they have me right where they want me. I will never ever let that happen, so I operate on their level. Works like a charm.

My team leader, who visits our classes on an annual basis once complimented me on how lame, silly and childish I react to them sometimes, but hey it works, he said. With all due respect, these are the lowest levels of society, who absolutely fucking hate school (most of them) and most of their parents don't care about their school results either. For example whenever we have parent-teacher conferences only 20% shows up, so I highly doubt my comment(s) ever reaches them. Luckily, I connect with these youngsters really well, mostly because of this, I believe. Not that they work harder lol, but I have their respect, so I can make such hard jokes on them. To quote one of my favourite hardstyle songs: "I'm hard, but I'm fair."

They alway lie to you as well, just straight in ur face. 20 year olds lol, lying like little children. One of my favorite replies to that is: "my bullshit-radar is sky-rocketing right now, DING DING DING DING DING."
