Should you hold on to hardstyle?
Re: Should you hold on to hardstyle?
So, if you still want the topic closed Soundphase, let me know

I fell in love with this music in 2005 and went through various phases with friends. My core group of people adored this style too. At least until 2009. Then it faded away for them but I was still hooked, even though I've never liked the so called "golden era".
The only people I could share my passion with were people online. Fast forward a couple of years and I am going to festivals again with a group of friends I made like 3 years ago who are also crazy about hardstyle. And I am sure that will change too eventually. And my passion for hardstyle will hopefully still the same even with its ups and downs.
What I am trying to say is, that you'll never know how your life will turn out. But this should never be a reason not to care about your hobbies. If you feel like going crazy about hardstyle stick to it, if it doesn't affect you anymore take a step back.

Can leave it open if people want to still discuss, just hope people don't think I'm being odd and pessimisticEmre wrote:Because of his first post on page 2DjVero wrote:There's an interesting discussion going on between various people, that's not only focused on / pointed towards Soundphase. Why shut that down?and he opened it

I think it's important not to get stuck with just hardstyle. There's tons of other great music out there, and i'm not talking just talking hardcore or other Hard-type of genres. Expand your horizon because hardstyle is only a small thing compared to what the world has to offer. I did that for a decade and it taught me a lot of things I could not learn while being stuck inside hardstyle,
