I don't think All your compatriots would agree on your argument on topics like this. I see your point more like the classical victimistic attitude of facistoids/racists. Try to think a little bit more and deeply when you post certain kind of bullshit. The Blaster wrote:gosh lol, didn't realize it was so controversial. in my country when you get 10 people around a table, you get 10 different opinions. and everybody respects each other. the concept of swiss neutrality is multi-faceted but that is one component to it. try and have some respect lol

Don't argue certain topics here. When you say something negative about blacks or other cancel culture topics, even when it's supposed to be a (stupid) joke, you're automatically called racist or right-extremist by some people, no matter how liiiiiiiiiiittle the point you're trying to make is... Unfortunately, that's how low we've all sunk over the years. Not only here, but in the entire western world. The Blaster wrote:gosh lol, didn't realize it was so controversial. in my country when you get 10 people around a table, you get 10 different opinions. and everybody respects each other. the concept of swiss neutrality is multi-faceted but that is one component to it. try and have some respect lol

If it was a (stupid) joke, where's the actual joke part?
It's all rainbows and sunshine with the controversy until someone disagrees with you people and suddenly you start whinging about cancel culture or sjws or whatever boogeyman is relevant in [current year]. Like a broken record.
The fact that you put "something negative about blacks" in the same sentence as "other cancel culture topics" speaks volumes on how out of touch you are in regards to the subject. I wouldn't expect any better though.
I soon expect someone else to chime in and give out warnings to those of us showing frustration about the ignorance and not warnings about the ignorance in the first place.

Thank you for proving my exact point. Next to that, you completely misread my post. Nowhere did I say that the current discussion is a joke, and I didn’t mean it as a joke either, nor did The Blaster most likely (hopefully).
Give me a break
I said what I said because we’ve forgotten what actual fucking racism is. You know what actual racism is? I bet you do, but here goes. Fucking racism is a black kid who’s denied from joining a soccer club by a white board or other white kids. Or the fucking ku-klux-clan. Or a black man who gets beaten by a group of skinheads. Or the black man who's refused a job because he's black. I needn't continue I think.
THAT’s racism. THESE are the topics that should be addressed and dealt with.
NOT The Blaster for voicing his opinion about an idiot police officer who happens to have held a low-life drug abusing scumbag criminal (no matter black or white) for too long which resulted in that oh so poor man dying. NOT me mentioning “blacks or other cancel culture topics” in one sentence. Not the police officer who's doing his job by taking criminals off of the streets (I'm not referring to Chauvin with this sentence by the way). Not the crazy old uncle making a stupid joke about Africa winning the world title with France some years ago. Or Hollywood deleting entire scenes in which blacks are not prominent enough
. THAT’S “out of touch”! Not me! But don’t you dare say anything about that out in public or you will get an entire army of social justice warriors after you. This latter sentence is a joke by the way…….
But hey, I get it. Yelling racism to everything gets you helluva lot further in life these days than actually tackling your problems. In fact, yelling racism to everything will get you half the fucking world to back you up. Fuck, if I were black, I probably would do the same thing, because you know, I’ve got pretty much the entire black community to stand with me and maybe, just maybe, I will get a top-ranking position at a multinational global company, because you know, there are not enough black people in these positions. Oh, this latter sentence (after the first "maybe") is a joke again by the way……….
If only everyone would take everything with a grain of salt just a liiiiiiittle bit more, life for and with each other would be a helluva lot more pleasant. In the end we all have the same heart.
Give me a break

I think the only joke here is your entire post. Not even going to give you the satisfaction of breaking down why your post is a load, obviously I've struck a nerve.DjVero wrote:The ramblings of a sheltered ignorant "man", out of touch in regards to American social issues
Grow up and act like the 32 year old man you wish you could be.

Oh yes, the ancient "you know nothing"-argument when everything else fails.
The stupidity when you're not on the in this case "everything-is-racism-cloud" that everyone seems to be floating on...

"Between 1997 and 2005, Floyd served eight jail terms on various charges, including drug possession, theft, and trespass.[5][14][11][note 1] In one of these cases the arresting officer was later investigated for a pattern of falsifying evidence, related to the Pecan Park raid, leading the District Attorney of Harris County, Texas to request a posthumous pardon for Floyd in 2021.[35] In 2007, Floyd faced charges for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon; according to investigators, he had entered an apartment by impersonating a water department worker and barging in with five other men, then held a pistol to a woman's stomach and searched for items to steal.[16][36][37] Floyd was arrested three months later during a traffic stop and a 7-year-old victim of the robbery identified him from a photo array.[37] In 2009, he was sentenced to five years in prison as part of a plea deal[36][38][39] and was paroled in January 2013.[20] After Floyd's release, he became more involved with Resurrection Houston, a Christian church and ministry, where he mentored young men and posted anti-violence videos to social media.[8][14][40][34] He delivered meals to senior citizens and volunteered with other projects, such as the Angel By Nature Foundation, a charity founded by rapper Trae tha Truth.[41] Later he became involved with a ministry that brought men from the Third Ward to Minnesota in a church-work program with drug rehabilitation and job placement services.[14] A friend of Floyd acknowledged that Floyd "had made some mistakes that cost him some years of his life," but that he had been turning his life around through religion.[34]"DjVero wrote:NOT The Blaster for voicing his opinion about an idiot police officer who happens to have held a low-life drug abusing scumbag criminal (no matter black or white) for too long which resulted in that oh so poor man dying.

Guy had a few relatively minor charges in the past (I can agree that holding the pistol to a woman's stomach is definitely worse than the rest, but even that was 13 years prior to the arrestation). Guy showed rehabilitation, didn't make any felony since 2007, and you're gonna call him a "low-life drug abusing scumbag criminal" like he murdered people (in which case, police still wouldn't have any right to kill him).
Not only is it incredibly backwards and stupid, but it shows how ignorant you are about the US issues (and admittedly I am too but I try to educate myself) and how being black was the primary cause for his murder. They can safely arrest white mass shooters but can't help but killing black men who at most were committing a non-violent small felony (and in a lot of cases were completely innocent)? Give me a break.

Gatekeeping is voor kankeridiooten
Yeah, you can shovel these holy Floyd facts down my throat all you want, the only fact that is relevant is that he came in contact with the police during his final moments. I don't know about you, but during my past 32 years I've NEVER come in contact with the police the way he's been.lilfrenchidiot wrote:"Between 1997 and 2005, Floyd served eight jail terms on various charges, including drug possession, theft, and trespass.[5][14][11][note 1] In one of these cases the arresting officer was later investigated for a pattern of falsifying evidence, related to the Pecan Park raid, leading the District Attorney of Harris County, Texas to request a posthumous pardon for Floyd in 2021.[35] In 2007, Floyd faced charges for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon; according to investigators, he had entered an apartment by impersonating a water department worker and barging in with five other men, then held a pistol to a woman's stomach and searched for items to steal.[16][36][37] Floyd was arrested three months later during a traffic stop and a 7-year-old victim of the robbery identified him from a photo array.[37] In 2009, he was sentenced to five years in prison as part of a plea deal[36][38][39] and was paroled in January 2013.[20] After Floyd's release, he became more involved with Resurrection Houston, a Christian church and ministry, where he mentored young men and posted anti-violence videos to social media.[8][14][40][34] He delivered meals to senior citizens and volunteered with other projects, such as the Angel By Nature Foundation, a charity founded by rapper Trae tha Truth.[41] Later he became involved with a ministry that brought men from the Third Ward to Minnesota in a church-work program with drug rehabilitation and job placement services.[14] A friend of Floyd acknowledged that Floyd "had made some mistakes that cost him some years of his life," but that he had been turning his life around through religion.[34]"DjVero wrote:NOT The Blaster for voicing his opinion about an idiot police officer who happens to have held a low-life drug abusing scumbag criminal (no matter black or white) for too long which resulted in that oh so poor man dying.

And for what, for using a fake bill. And what do you do when you are caught? You give the cigarettes (in this case) back. What does Floyd do? He doesn't. And what do you do when the police arrive and try to arrest you? You comply. Floyd doesn't. Everything Chauvin did after that, was completely unnecessary. True.
Then in my eyes you are nothing more than a low-life scumbag criminal. It's not a reason to be murdered, I know, but just complying with the rules (and especially when you do get caught) would normally not get you into trouble. I comply and listen to authorities when needed. Certain people tend to do otherwise...

1) Seems like you're from NL, I guess you can't really compare dutch and american police.DjVero wrote:I don't know about you, but during my past 32 years I've NEVER come in contact with the police the way he's been.
2) Ever heard of racial profiling? It might be one of the reasons, why you never come into contact with police.
That is very true, but authorities are authorities and people, no matter guilty or not or from whatever place on earth you are, should abide by them. Laws should by no means be bent by random people. Imagine the shithole it would create. If you want to discuss your matter we, in the western world, have judicial systems for that where you can try to make your case. I highly doubt you would get far after using false money and disobeying direct orders though...TheHauer wrote:1) Seems like you're from NL, I guess you can't really compare dutch and american police.DjVero wrote:I don't know about you, but during my past 32 years I've NEVER come in contact with the police the way he's been.
Might yea, but I've been at various occasions where things were about to go south. I just take my loss and leave instead of rioting or defying orders. And yes, I've got various fines as well, but instead of going against the police I take my loss, no matter how unfair it may seem. Again, certain people tend to do otherwise.2) Ever heard of racial profiling? It might be one of the reasons, why you never come into contact with police.
