Well ... amazing music = lots of fans = lots of promoters wanting to book you = more money. The more money can come from either you doing tons of normal bookings, or making it something more exclusive for a higher fee.... the choice is still your own as artist.

True, but there comes the factor "burned out" into play.
Hardwell was the latest example or the tragedy around Avicii.
Every artist should know how much he / they can take.
Kudos to Marco.

Burnouts suck.

Best of luck to Marco and I hope he finds some rest and renewed energy.

Is it official he got 'burnouts'?

I just think he just takes his time for creativity, which i highly respect.

I can imagine that its difficult to find time for creativity/trying out something new or working on totally new production techniques while touring around 24/7.

Q-Dance presents. The return of Phuture Noize 2020. But without the crying posts and tons of great music.

Quit pushing? This announcement is part of the whole marketing scheme around him :D He certainly wanted to stop for a bit so they had to create something around that. The "Hey, I do not conform with the norm!" thing...

Not saying it is bad, neither that's not how Marco feels, just saying this is part of the big picture that pushed Marco to the top.

They'll accept less shows in the future and make the ones they'll accept more exclusive. Some other artists aswell btw. Good strategy, higher fees and less bullshit gigs which just stress you out as an artist.
