I struggle with the same thing. My suggestion is to write down everything you need to do. Then try to organize it by priority of what you need to get done and by when it needs to be done by. (If it needs to be done sooner rather than later, it probably has a higher priority). And be reasonable with the times. A lot of people are like "I need to get these 20 things done by next week" when in reality, they could probably shorten that last.Valadia wrote:Slowly starting to feel so fucking overburdened. Next, make some sort of schedule like thing. Or you could think of it like setting goals. So say for example you have a list of 15 things you know you need to get done. Try to split it up into different weeks so like you could put 3 things per week. And your goal is to try and get those 3 things done by the end of the week. Also, don't force yourself to stick perfectly with the schedule. It's fine if you can't finish. Or maybe finish something that wasn't supposed to be done that week. This is something to strive for. To try to keep you on track.
Another thing is try and break down what you have to do into smaller things. A lot of times, if you have something big to do, it may seem overwhelming, but splitting it down and taking it one thing at a time makes it a lot less overwhelming.
Another tip, if making the list, try to interweave some lesser priority things in maybe. Because looking at a list where everything HAS to be done by a time is a lot worse and overwhelming than a list where only some of the things HAS to be done. And put some time into the list for breaks or chilling. Like literally put on the list of things to do "have fun". Or just straight up some free time for whatever. That way if something else comes up, you got time for it.
Overall to sum up, take some time and thing about you gotta do, and then try to schedule it out. Figure out when things need to be done by and prioritize.
(also if you have some way to clearly denote that something is, that can help with morale. for me, I have a whiteboard because I like being able to clean the whiteboard up. Every time I finish something, I can erase it from the whiteboard and my goal is to have it completely cleared. And the act of erasing it and visually seeing it disappearing helps)
