IT depends from the edtion but I agree, Hard bass was far better last year and it only sold out 95% of the tickets.

Hard Bass is soooo much better

Because Qlimax got a better experience itself, the mystical around it, the scene, when you step in the gelredome for qlimax, you feel like you step into "the temple" thats quite special, hardbass is "another great indoor event" but qlimax is qlimax, did you already we
nt to Qlimax ?

But don't misunderstand what i'm saying, they're both great, but Qlimax always feel more than just "an indoor event" when you're at it.

Yes, last Year and I felt not like the Temple as I stepped in.
After the Event I was really Disappointed as i thought about the Hype and the Feelings that I had before I went.
So I stay at my Opinion and after 6 times Hard Bass in a Row -> Again Next Year

I just really disliked the sound last year. Defqon and Intents were so much better in that regards.

Indoor and outdoors events are not really comparable imo.
But yes, the sound changed a few times in the last year through some trouble with local residents.
Although the last edition of Qlimax was quiet disappointing (just compared to the high level of past editions like 2016, 2013, 2012, and further and except of PN suprise set ), this event always has a special feeling and atmosphere. Many people are hyped and you just feel the excitement by everyone who's just waiting that the curtain falls and everybody sees the stage (always love editions with a curtain ).
But to be honest Hardbass outplayed QL in the last year in terms of music and (light)show.
Nevertheless I will still attend Qlimax again, visiting it since '12 every year, I just need a curtain - a better line up and B-Front for the anthem

I stopped going VIP the last two years after not being able to get it 2016. VIP is nice to have for me mainly because of accesible lockers and maybe the wristband as a reminder of the event... But 50€...
