I will review YOUR track on my youtube channel!

Post by Neko »

Hey guys,
I really want to push my Youtube Channel a bit, as I am having fun with doing videos lately.
I recorded a review video for headhunterz' newest album, but as you might have guessed already it got taken down for copyright infringement. Then an idea struck me. Here it is.

- You send me a track of yours which you want to have me take a look at.
- Within the genre of hardstyle
- I only accept FULL tracks with at least 320kbps, preferably .WAV
- NO BOOTLEGS, REMIXES, RELEASED track or tracks containing vocals or samples which are obviously copyrighted (It'll be taken down by youtube)
- NO SOUNDCLOUD links or similiar without a download option (I'll use fruity loops for the review so I need the actual file)
- I will try to give feedback on a constructive basis, if you look after some caresses or cuddles you will be sad as I think you have to be somewhat firm for a constructive feedback. I won't just say "its good" or "its bad".

- I will try to analyse the structure, mixdown and elements used in your track to give you an idea where you can improve.

Post your links to your track with a download link below or send me a DM.

I hope you like this idea. I think it may give you a more detailed feedback because I will strive to get a 10minute video out for every track. Lets see how this will turn out :)

Honestly I was expecting someone to really just go balls out and shit on the track they "review" but this honestly gives some great insights and fair pointers, I dont know much about producing but it's interesting for me and I feel like the points you make are valid and you give them in a very good manner. I probably wont learn to produce better but I enjoy watching it, earned yourself a new sub!

Second episode with my track:

Thank you so much for review! Really interesting point of view and fresh way to get feedback. Nice idea with those videos ;)

In this track, mid intro has to be "blend" of all sounds, to create that chaotic, space feeling - same in the reeverb section. The track overall is aimed for "simplicity" of 2010 vibe with some modern look. That lack of focus on only one sound and only kick in the front is intended effect. Same goes with the structure. :)
