I just don't understand all these subgenres of subgenres of subgenres, wasn't meant about raw itself

Progressive is just a musical term to describe any music genre that subverts and expands stylistic boundaries outwards.

So the "think outside the box" term is outdated, let's call it progressive instead Seriously, like raw hasn't been influenced by many genres or types of genres since the very beginning.

The one thing you can never count on is the design of the stage. I mean look at 2014/2015 they had no significance to the theme at all.

I'd expect something like the 2012 with a big dial in the middle and mountains either side if they do stick to the theme.

"At all" is an exaggeration.

2014 stage got DNA strings on top - the DNA Theme was all over the Trailer. The trailer showed people sitting (could symbolize the crowd down the stage) and one standing (stage). It also zooms at his head.

You won't see a 1:1 preview of the stage but the DNA is already enough honestly.

EDIT: Even forgot about the XY "chromosomes" which appeared on the led screens.

probably we will see planets moving and align before the anthem show.
no much ideas from the whole stage..maybe a pyramid yea..but in my opinion the decks will move up and down like in 2010.
i really hope there won't be that fucking thing on the floor in the front row where people go high and falling down just to stay on the front row..and people behind cant see a shit

Wasn't a fan of it either. Also it made the even look "messy." As impressive as Qlimax was last year, I felt like the stage, for all it's colors and designs and movements, felt messy. It was not clean and polished. The stage in 2015 wasn't impressive but it had a cohesive feel. Same with 2014 and 2013 (I can't speak to before 2013).

Last year was phenomenal but I felt like the DJ set up was lackluster and the entire stage wasn't totally cohesive.

from my experience, the position of the decks were good in 2012 and 2011, the Whole stage works well also in 2012 with those cards and the elements and animations. in 2013 i liked the transformation but the first one was smaller than the 2011 stage so the impact was about "meh". 2014 impressive but empty. the best one is the last year except the position of the decks(also seems empty and separated by the stage) and the front row with that stairs.

the moving decks is not a bad idea..we never experienced it in a vertical gelredome position(in 2010 was horizontal)
