@Djspeed87 Kick sounds right but it seems to miss some High. You can't really hear it good because the synths/leads you are using sound way too loud in combination with the kicks. But for sure the caracter of the kick sounds allready good!
@Buffelstoot I like the crunch sound in it. Maybe the Tok sounds could use just a little more high in it. I also think the lowbass part can be a lot louder to give some more power to the kick.
@Soundphase Nice kick but it seems to be more usefull for a build up. Maybe layer a fat Low rolling basspart to it so you can use it in the climax part as well.
Of all the snippets i can say that the sound quality is sometimes not good enough to really hear how the kick is.
So for now here is my kick from a new R@wstyle track : Greetings !

@PyroFlow I like it, although for my taste I would lower the gain of the punch so it complements more with the tail, sub area is nice
tried resampling my kick and compressing the tail and punch differently, sounds very different now but not really my style

thanks, I took a club kick and tried putting in for the low end to give the kick more drive, I didn't like how seperate my punch sounded to the bass, changed compression on the tok now (more release and higher ratio so it slopes faster), but I think I need to layer a new sub since my sub got destroyed after saturating the tail againPyroFlow wrote:@Soundphase First version was better. Try to layer some more bass. The crunch is good but the whole kick just needs some more background power, something lower. Maybe stack a layer with lowpassed bass to it.

@Buffelstoot solid kick, with that 'right-in-your-face' sound, very good sound design.
@Soundphase version 1: the kick needs adjustments, the punch needs some high end, and the tail seems to miss some eq-ing. The overall sound is muddy, you need to clear it up a bit. Keep a EQ on the tok and the tail and experiment with changing frequencies up and down on a narrow point.
version 2: well what happened there, man? it sounds even muddier, the tok is changed a bit but the tail doesn't sound right.
@PyroFlow I love the punch, but the tail seems to fade away compared to it, maybe boost it a bit?
Here is my new raw kick:

@xelnadu sounds alright, the space of the kick is good but the character of the bass isn't very interesting, sounds too much like a standard triangle wave
I made a different kick
another weird kick on F

Soundphase:
Good shit fam. The "weird kick" has kind of annoying stereo image with the layer that happens every other kick tho.
PyroFlow:
Needs more processing, distorting, etc. The tok sounds very "hardkick10" without the impact. The tail is also very stale and feels like it has no character. Try an emulate a modern raw kick you like the sound of, it'll put you more in the right direction.
Buffelstoot:
Sounds bretty gud with solid punch and character fallaway, but I feel the sub is too loud, and it needs more highs, especially in the tok. Keep processing and you'll have something great.

@xelnadu: Punch is good for a raw kick but the tail (bass) needs much more distortion.
@SoundPhase: Sound design is pretty good but they are just not my type of kicks. First one would be nice for an intro though.
@Phazon: Nice. Reminds me of an Audiotricz kick. I do here a annoying high frequency (some sort of crack) in the tail somewhere. Besides that very nice and professional kick! Keep it up!
Here's my new kick:
I am wondering if I would add some extra crunch to the tail & maybe some highs on the punch...

@Phazon damn nice kick man, you got that sorted. I don't try to make these kind of kicks but I like listening
@Buffelstoot I like that kick but the pitch up sounds distinctively more clear than the lower pitch
