Re: [23/06/2017] Defqon.1 Festival [NL]
Hello everyone I have a question. I'm going to Defqon this year and I'm trying to decide between a hotel or comfort camping. I'm a girl who doesn't like camping and takes a while getting ready. I know this might sound like a weird line of questioning lol but What are the showers like, are they all gross and muddy? Cold water? Not on all night? Are the trailers secure? Is there always a lack of toilet paper? Are there mirrors anywhere? The main reason I'm considering comfort camping is I don't want to travel back and forth between festival and hotel because I'm traveling from the USA alone. Any info would be great thanks =)

The showers are "fine", I mean for a huge camping like this one you could expect much worse, they're cleaned quite often.
For the water, well it really depends when you take it. I always took mine at night (cause there's nobody while you'll have to stand in line on the morning), and it already happened there were cold, and I mean, really really cold

Never took a trailer so can't say but in general, the camping is safe, my friends and I always let our stuff in our tents, we just close it and that's it, we never had any problem.
No you will always find toilet paper

And yes there are mirrors above the washstand. There are also outlet for your hairdryer

Hope I've helped !
Imo the defqon 1 camping experience was much better compared to all the other festivals I've been to so far. When I showered the water was warm (not hot but not cold either) and the shower was quite clean. Camping is safe and not really muddy. Toilets are cleaned very often, I still would bring my own toilet paper though. There are mirrors on top of the sinks if I remember it correctly. Also never seen a trailer fly away but that'll probably always happen somewhere on the campsite
.

Yep.. last year was like a hotel (atleast on the camping site)

On the comfort site showers are 24/7. And the water is not cold. Quite clean in my opinnion, not muddy at all. And never had any problem with toilet paper, there has always been enough. There are mirrors in the shower/bathroom area. And the trailers are locked and you have the only key into it, so I guess they are pretty safe. And only those ppl can access to comfort area, who have bought their accomodation from comfort area. And there is security persons around the clock so dont worryVillainsWearBlack wrote:Hello everyone I have a question.
