This was my first Defqon 1 experience and I can only say one thing about it: HOLY SHIT! It really was the best weekend of my life. I enjoyed every minute of the party and yeah, I also bursted into tears also with HHZ. It was a very special moment of conection with him after he left the scene. He really recieves lots of hate from so many people and I am pretty sure he is affected by this. I don't care recongnizing that I cried during his last words because I felt what many people did in that moment, that he still loves us and carry us on his heart. TBH I don't understand those of you who are still hating on this or making fun of it.
Anyway, It was one hell of an adventure for me and I will be there next year for sure!

Lots of people making fun of the crying, seeing it all over various FB groups too.
The whole point of Defqon is to be overcome with emotion. I didn't cry, but it was emotional and there were moments all through the weekend bordering on the spiritual, where nothing else mattered but the music and the unity, I was filled with warmth and felt weightless.. and I wasn't on anything. There's no room for hating.
Then there's people saying things like "hurr durr stupid hardstyle crying lololol terrorcore is so much better".
If you really get music, you don't draw lines like that, it's all house music.

this was my first defqon 1. so, the saturday endshow was a surprise, i expected fireworks at the whomp whomp sound like always but they came after that, first i was dissapointed and thought wtf q-dance but then i was like omg! i think q-dance did a great job with that!
