is there a way to automate 'last tweeked parameter' in logic? Can't figure it out


Edit: I have one way.. I put the automation mode to "touch" and then press play, then I just tweek a parameter on the synth and the automation jumps to the one I tweaked

I was wondering about velocity and lead notes, with a hardstyle lead I usually just had the velocity up full for every note. Does it matter? I thought that velocity might only matter with piano notes.

Unless going for a specific effect, you generally want to keep the velocity of a main lead even across the entire melody. Perhaps when working with a chord lead you may want to increase/decrease one of the notes to make it more pronounced in the chord, but most people would avoid doing so. As always, though, it's up to you to decide if the effect is applicable on a particular element. If it sounds good, go for it.
Velocity changes are used for a hell of a lot more than piano notes, and I'd strongly encourage incorporating more velocity use into your productions, since it can be extremely helpful and efficient.

They sound kinda identical but the first melody is an uplifting one , and euphoric tracks usually have a more shining, cleaner lead

I think it's just the key that you wrote you melody in or the structure of your melody in general.

The first melody is Zero Fucks Given by Da Tweekaz and the second one is something I made. And I did notice their melody is a lot more bouncy. I think because the notes are shorter
