[Help!] Driving Music for road trip

Post by Astroshade »

I'm going on a 2 week road trip by car around Sweden to show some outsiders our "beautiful" country.
They're by no means Hardstyle fanatics... I guess they actually hate this sorta music.

So I need some Sweet home alabama style tracks that you can think of that are PERFECT for roadtrips :)

Go on shoot, if everyone can come up with at least one or two songs that'd be great! :D

Glad that there's someone here who likes Dropkick Murphys, I love them, I also have a t-shirt and a sweater of them.

About the music:

- Iggy Pop - The Passenger (this THE trip by car song)
- Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl
- Animals - House of The Rising Sun
- Chumbawamba - Tubthumping
- some Oasis
- some Green Day
- some Linkin Park
- Liquido - Narcotic
- The Offspring - Pretty Fly For a White Guy
- Jefferson Airplane - Somebody to Love & also White Rabbit
- some Muse
- Mumford & Sons - The Cave
- Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street
- John Denver - Country Roads
- Nirvana - Smell Like Teen Spirit
- some The Who
- Flogging Molly - Salty Dog & also Drunken Lullabies
- Guns 'n' Roses - Civil War, November Rain, Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle
- Creedence Clearwater Revival - Fortunate Son
- Sweet Home Chicago
- The Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You
- The Doors - Roadhouse Blues
- Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name
- some blink-182
- some Pink Floyd
- some Queen (overall I suggest Don't Stop Me Now, Bohemian Rapsody, Somebody to Love)
- some The Beatles (All You Need Is Love, Twist And Shout, Let It Be etc.)
- Alice Cooper - Poison
- Findlay - Off & On

These plus the ones you mentioned compose my "visitor's playlist", I play that in my car when there is someone who doesn't like harder styles, so basicly always.

Maybe they like Billy Talent if they are not too old..a bit harder than most of the stuff listed but I always immagine it well in a car on a country road with open windows on a warm sunny day :)

Well... these ppl are My friend (my age - 24) and his Mom visiting us from abroad.
So... not too hard on the drums, not too much disted guitars and not too harsh vocals.
