Oh yes please.

I had a little suggestion, I for one put the date for a certain release on my mind. The date which I can remember of course but I tend to forget what release its actually is. I dont know if this is just me, but could we change the way of having our wonderful posts about releases?

For example:

Change "Tartaros - Show Yourself [The Magic Show Records]" into "[28/01] Tartaros - Show Yourself" and keep the label in the actual post? I dont know. Just a little thought I had, of course it's good the way it is but this is good for people that are lazy (me) :p

Okay, I'll tell some of my opinions about your suggestions...

VOL-E: well, I don't think we should extend the off-topic section, as for football, it's useless to seperate leagues. Great to see all the fans gathering in one topic and share the most excitement things each other, it's more easier ;)

Rick: good question. Judging by all the tracks going out of BB's hands lately (if it's not ghost-produced lol), they're pretty crappy and don't deserve to be in the unreleased section. I think his tracks will have a safe place on the off-topic section to discuss and have a good laugh haha :P :+

Sarah: No matter if you use the first or the second method, the mean is in the first topic always in my opinion ;) I tried to manage the overview topic of hardstyle releases before to show not only the released, but the upcoming tracks being released. I totally confused, many changes in either the release date or the other import informations are not that unknown phenomenon (plus I get used to make topic in the "original" way haha).

Totally understandable! You do a great job at it aswell. Dont wanna come across as demanding or telling anyone they're doing a bad job, I just thought for me personally (atleast) that seeing the actual release date in the topic would be nicer. It's not the biggest deal though, can always read the actual post for the date. :)

Anyway, I can advice you to check out the FB page of Harderstate, if you want to be up-to-date about the releases:

https://www.facebook.com/harderstate

Or check my overview topic of 2014 daily, if you really have time for that :+

Yeah I read that topic as I kind of thought about it, the thing is that's as they come out (day by day) and not for the future which is what I want here. Again, I'm not trying to piss on anyones work by any means but I thought having it in the title would help out :p

That's stupid. Imo every track has the right to have its own topic, whether troll/no troll or whether good or bad. It shouldn't matter. Besides, this board is all about freedom of speech; banning such things just takes that away and leans towards censorship

exactly. lock the topic if it gets out of hand but banning an artist globally, no matter how bad he is is the worst idea ever. want another GHF?

Random idea: a "releases" section for stuff pre-2010 (ie. before the forum was created)

We have early hs topics and track of the day I know but having single topics for releases would result in more discussion
Would also need to be limited to say 3 releases per day to prevent the topic being flooded with nothing getting replies...
So not sure about the specifics but greater discussions of prior stuff I think would be cool, bit more variety

(although I am aware that a lot of you who are old users of forums elsewhere have probably already discussed these tracks eg. on ghf and therefore might not be as enthusiastic. eh who knows :))
