Have you ever actually heard vinyl ? Awesome example is Titan - Nightmare, it sounds so dull in mp3. You cant properly hear the bassline during the part with screaming synth.

na.. the vinyl will still be there for some labels, it's just so epic.. I think what fusion did is just turn the cape with the wind, kids growing up today is only hearing the compressed music so they probebly don't even has anything to compare with..just how damn its compressed to like 320 or 128.

Ive read and also tested it myself that a vinyl uses a badtub EQ ish style on the normal product. That eq is boosted lows and highs. People mostly refer that as a warmer sound. Some speakers also use that same principe.
Boosted highs are refered to a cold sound. Its kinda obvious some of you people listen to your music with bass eq on +10 instead of listening to it the way it was produced. Saying mp3 is better than vinyl is clearly stupid and not said by people with proper hifi speakers (and hifi is not a cheap home theatre amp with some 5.1 system).

The problem is that each medium is so different -- and honestly does require different mastering to better listen to both.
If something is mastered for vinyl, it's obviously not going to sound as lively as it would on many others considering the dynamic range is drastically less than for another type of medium. If people are cheap enough or ignorant enough (which I'd consider the former over the latter), they will probably try to do a "one shoe fits all"... Tracks that are mastered for a digital format will sound much better than tracks mastered for vinyl but passed off as a digital format... and to be honest: it's going to sound much cleaner, detailed, and far better if it's properly mastered for digital/etc than even a track mastered for vinyl will sound on vinyl.
To add: at the end of it all, from that point on it just depends what you like to hear. Vinyl has it's own "feel" which some people prefer when it's done properly.... I like warmth of it, and overall I like holding it in my hand. I find for really rough music, vinyl adds that extra bit of "something" that makes it feel like it should be that way, but unfortunately doesn't translate well in to the digital world where everything must be precise and perfect... But if it comes to quality, I can't deny that digital is superior in every aspect (again: when done properly), as unforgiving as it is.

Everyone has been saying that Vinyl has been dead for years but for Hardstyle this is the 'begining of the end'. What a sad moment(On a bright note for myself though, looks like I had my cdj 800 just at the right time. Been using & buying vinyl for 8 years!!!!)
