Getting started
Hey guys. I just got started on the EDM world. I got FL studio(recomendated for starters) and well... I don't know what to do first. I would love to make tracks like this one:
But how do I start, I'm totally lost

well, i'm no expert either but i guess you can learn a lot by watching tutorial videos @ youtube.
just search randomly, "fl studio tutorial, fl studio kick tutorial, melody tutorial"
after you've learned the basics, you can start experimenting yourself (messing around in fl, trying to make a melody/kick and so on)
this is the phase i'm in by the way and i must say i'm quite struggling but eventually i'll be able to make my sounds/tracks hopefully.

Hmmm.... Do you know how this kind od EDM is called?
mainstream house, i'd say.
Well, Those are detuned saw chords, with a simple saw bass under it, for drums I would use vengeance samples, and for the noises it's basically a saw wave as well but with portamento/sliding, you can easily find tutorials online about this, I also recommend watching the mainroom house tutorial made by sonic academy
