One thing I often wonder about. The much more commercialized style that is popular today, how do the producers really feel about it? Do they really like what they produce, or are they just kinda liking it, but stil releases it because of the popularity and money? Since most old school people on this forum (and in general) think that the commercial hardstyle isn't as good as the old one, shouldn't many of the old school producers think the same way?

Tbh producers must enjoy what they are producing, but I know for a fact there are certain producers who enjoyed the way it was before even more than now. But if they didnt follow the leader' they'd get left behind or some might say 'stuck in the past'. Fact is they can't make hardstyle in the oldskool way(if that's what you want to call it now) because they wouldn't get booked for the Big/Q events in holland again or at all.

I don't have to support myself yet because I'm young and at school so I don't think about the money, I just produce what I like and what I want to hear. I'm pretty sure that they do enjoy it though because I can't complete a project if I don't like it myself, however I understand that money can be a big motivator for some people.

Zany & Showtek - 2 Devine never got released did it? I just remembered that track (which was on a couple of mixes back in 2009/2010) and it still holds up quite well today. Surprised it was never free released from what I can tell.
