How about you give yourself restingperiods and allow yourself to be social? It's a good thing you're driven, that's for sure, but your social life shouldn't be suffering from it (or just your life in general, health etc).
At one point you will probably hit a wall (Producersblock) and you might realize then that you want something else than producing at that moment! Just make sure that when it happens, you have something else to do

I'm the same way dude. I go on fucking binges where i just make whatever I feel like but It feels so good just producing for hours on end. keep up the effort! you won't regret all the time you invested into it

Yeah what Diamanic said exactely what I am afraid of. That when I stop producing I dont know what to do and than, tough I would need a break I produce and I feel like a bad producer because nothing comes out.. I stopped watching TV, reading books, everything..only things I do is my obbligations (highschool, conservatory/music school, other daily tasks), be with good friends (<3 moking waterpipe

) or try to regain contact with friends I didnt saw for long time and every free second keyboarding or producing. I have filled every secound of my life with those things but I guess if I would stop producing it would suddenly feel so empty, something would be missing and I would feel uncomfortable and always think I forgot something.
But anyway, I think as long as the wish is here to produce I will keep producing and maybe if I am lucky and work hard life rewards me and allows me to do it as a job one day and the problem is solved by itself

And if not I will find something to do I like, I am not bad at school so I dont have to worry at the moment and producing is never a waste of time, like anything one likes to do.

Hey Dj Reaper!
I have the excact same problem.. But its a good thing as ppl say.. I ones got some wise words: The things you want the most in life will come if you dont give up on it. And also: the path to success is one big staircase, the way to the top is hard as hell, and when your legs fail, you switch to your arms and pull your self up to the top!
But anyway dont let social life get ruined even tho its hard, sometimes when being with my Gf or friends i cant stop thinking of music so your not alone bro!
In my opinion, Addiction to a thing you want so bad in your life is a very positive thing so keep on producing man!!

Yes I try to not ruin my social life, usually I always made music until friends call me and than I go and do something with them. It happens just a few times that I say I have no time and than sit further hours in front of my computer developing a good idea I have.
And yes I know that, also when I am with my friends I start staring at some point, completely switching of discussion and thinking about how to arrange a track or have a kick donging around in my head..even in school, at times the teacher talks to me and the only thing I hear is "dong-dong-dong-dong"..it is a bit of a problem if than she asks me "what have I said"

It often comes even to a point where I think about a track and get goosebumps without even hearing it, but I guess that just shows the passio0n in music I have, which is a good thing
