Man, this could be really great, but there are a few things you could fix up. Firstly, I understand that maybe you want the kick to be sitting far back in the mix, but I think it's too far and struggles to push the track forward. I'd change the kick completely and try to find something more punchier. Although you don't want the kick to be too dominant (I assume), it still has to cut through the mix - it's what moves the track. Secondly, the snare at 1:27 sounds ugly and just wrong, I'd remove it. It seems as though drums are your biggest issue, and if you can improve in that aspect, the track will be really well-done. The percussion however, I absolutely love, nice job on that. Also, the part starting at 0:43, is that supposed to be a build up towards the section at 1:27? I'm just a little confused by it, as you don't have the snare in that section, but you do at 1:27. If it is a build up, I think you could maybe have a filter on all your drums and percussion, or something a little subtle that just indicates to the listeners that it's not a main part, it's simply building up towards one. If it isn't meant to be a build up, then ignore what I said, and just fix up the kick and snare (whether or not it's a build up, the track will significantly benefit from nice drums). Anyway, I know you've finished the track, but I really hope you go back to it and touch up on these details, cause I'd love to hear it with proper drums. Nice job.
