Hello BDB,
You could try to browse around on the forum under tutorials and sound design maybe? Theres tons of guides on the forum so go study! ;)
But a good plugin for screches could be Sylenth 1, Massive or the famous Virus Ti .
Have fun!

Just an headsup - the virus ti is not a plugin, but rather a hardware synth, which happens to cost a lot of money, so unless you're not ready to spend some money on your upcoming studio, don't bother looking that up :)

Sylenth1 for sure! Virus TI is ofcourse the best of the best, but not everyone has the money to buy on. In the beginning of your career I think Sylenth1 is a VERY good plugin to use for screeches and lead sounds. Also Massive is a very good plugin, but that is a little bit more complicated if you want to learn the basics of a screech. So get Sylenth1, watch tutorials on youtube and tweak it to your own taste! :)
Nick Nieuwenhuis & Sander Nachtegaal teamed up to destroy everything on their way. Beware of some dark and raw musical beats!

Sylenth1 is good. If I remember right Zatox said once that it's his favorite plug-in.
