Linking cut-off from multiple plugins

Post by AaronM »

When I make my leads I like to load in other plugins and layer them together. So usually when I create automation clips on the cut off of the lead I have to go and change the cuttoff for each individual layer. Is there a way that I can link the cut-off into 1 automation clip or is there some sort of plugin that you can link to knobs on multiple plugins and have it as 1 knob. I'm using FL Studio by the way.

I'm not sure because i'm not using it myself... But, can't you assign all your cutoff knobs to a fruity X-Y controller? I think that is possible?!

1.Right click -> link to controller -> choose your automation (uncheck remove conflicts)
2.Repeat step 1

Make one automation, then copy its state. I dunno if there's any method to link them all to a single knob.

Like, the guy above clearly states how to do it, then you say you're not sure if there's any method.

FL Defines automation clips as controllers so you can link any knob to any automation clip you already made.
Just twist the knob, go to Tools > Last Tweaked parameter and select Link to controller, you can select the automation clip (under the internal controller tab) you want to link your knob to there.
