The nonsense I seem to be reading is all but opinions. I have been in the scene for 11 years now. From the days of Kandy Kids and Gabba and DnB Heads to White and Black Trance Parties. I have seen first hand like most of us the amount of change over the years. My journey has taken me from Happy Hardcore, to Trance, to House, and now Hardstyle, and Hardbass. I have had my fair share of bad parties and good parties like us all.
The fact that I hear complaints because Showtek changed who they are isn't necessary by any means. If that's who they want to be then let them. From what I have heard and read about their parties. Is that they are off the hook. It's not just about the music. It's about meeting fellow party kids and being a family.
PLURR - Peace Love Unity Responsibility Respect
Dig in and find your roots. If you don't have any roots then in "My Opinion", you need to walk away because we don't need bad party kids around. You create bad vibes and bad karma. No one is forcing you to listen to them so just walk away from Showtek if you don't like them and move on. Plan and Simple.
This music wasn't made so a bunch of babies can whine and cry about the path another DJ('s) has taken. It's about dancing and having fun and letting the music take us for a ride.
I'm going to this party and if it sucks then so be it. However, I have faith that one of the original's of Hardstyle will show us what a party should be like.
